We can create leaded glass windows for your entryway and back door and everything in between. We will work with you to develop the design for your window. We have pictures of panels we have constructed as well as a large variety of pattern books for ideas. We can also create a design from your concepts. Once you have determined the design, you can choose the glass for the window. (We have a huge selection of clear, textured glass in addition to all of the different colors available.) We will draw a full size pattern which you can preview before construction begins. After the window is completed, we will install it in your home or business. We can create glass tiles to your size and color specifications. You get to choose the glass that is used so the tiles are unique to your home rather than one of the few colors that are available pre-made. If you wish to get even more creative than that, we can make other shapes or any combination of shapes and colors. The fused accents can be made to work with regular tile you are having installed or you can cover the entire area with glass tiles and accents. The sky is the limit to the pieces that can be created. Cabinet doors can sometimes use a little extra "something" to create the look you want. Glass can be that something. You can either have a leaded glass panel created to set in the door frame or choose a specific piece of glass for the doors. We have over 120 different textures of clear glass. Whether you want to display the items in the cabinet or hide them, you will be able to find a glass to accomplish your purpose while adding beauty to the room. We can sandblast a design or picture into glass. The glass can be installed by itself in a window or cabinet door or used as an accent in a leaded panel. We can also sandblast existing glass on site. We can repair chips in crystal stemware, vases, bowls, etc. but even we can not make cracks disappear. Bring in your fully prepped piece to fuse. We have several kilns in the studio so we can fire a variety of different sized projects. Bring in your torchwork beads and we will anneal them for you. If you need a specific glass, bevel, tool, etc that we don't have on hand, we can order it for you. We order several times a week so it shouldn't be long before you have it in your hands. Have a good idea for a leaded panel? Or find a pattern that would be perfect if only it had a heron instead of a moose in it? Drawing a pattern can be complicated as you need to take into account the difficulty of the cuts you are creating and where the break lines should be placed so the panel is not lead-heavy, not to mention the fact that some people aren't comfortable with their drawing skills. We can help with this too. We have skilled designers who can draw up the pattern you have envisioned. Sandblasting Prepared Projects If you need a piece sandblasted as a focal point of a larger window, or if the sandblasted item is your whole project, we can sandblast it for you. Just bring it in with the resist applied and the design cut out and we will take it from there. (And in case you weren't aware, we do carry flashed glass which makes the blasting even more dramatic.) |
